The BAPTISM

INTRODUCTION:
Perhaps one of the most misunderstood Bible truths, is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. 
 
In the Church today there are great battles being fought with the devil, "the prince of the power of the air,"  Notice I said "power of the air."  The enemy of God has his "power" and he wants to keep the CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD, POWERLESS!
 
Through out many years, since Jesus commanded in Luke 24:49b:
 
"....Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued
WITH POWER FROM ON HIGH,"
 
much confusion has surrounded these "words of Jesus."  What did Jesus really mean by this command?  Is it so complicated that great men have stumbled over it, or is it "OBSCURED FROM UNDERSTANDING" by the arch deceiver himself, to dilibertly attempt to stop the ADVANCEMENT OF GOD'S CHURCH?
 
On this page you will discover the TRUTH about this Bible Doctrine, clearly and carefully taught so that even a child could understand it.  I do not hesitate in the smallest degre nor shrink from this subject, just because of the great controversary surrounding it.  I will be true to the principles of true Bible study, and expound upon this truth, comparing scripture with scripture.  I will rightly divide the Word of God being carefull not to twist the Scripture. 
 
I believe that this is one of the most important studies any Christian can undertake, because if he is wrong in his belief about this important subject,  then he is rendered powerless, and fails in his wittness to lost mankind.  Jesus said that the purpose of this "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" was for POWER TO BE WITNESSES.
 
I will begin this section by giving my own testimony and experience encountered over this teaching and disclose what the Holy Spirit has taught me....as I have came "out of the desert" of confusion. 
 
I am like the Apostle Paul when he said concerning where he received his understanding, and degree in the knowledge of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ...."But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me IS NOT AFTER MAN.  For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST."  Galatians 1:11-12
